OOC: No, that is wrong for death attacks.  You can test that in Vordans Hero Creator v.1.4. It's anyway great for build test.
Also yes ranged DA's work and even if not stated DA damage always adds with sneak attack and works like it. One great Assassin could be Ranger 11 Assassin 9 as Tiefling, best race for archer assassin. If you want I can explain very detailed the build. I would have played this if there would be better arrows and if archery wouldn't be the weakest form of combat in NWN2. SO I may play this as an second char ...

As far as I know, the DA damage ONLY stacks if you have at least one level of Rogue in your build, any other class that grants sneak attack is bugged in this way 
At least that was the acknowledged saying on the official board 6-8 weeks ago... Could have changed with the 1.05 patch, but I didn't see it stated s such in the patch description. |

OOC: No the damage adds up, it just gives no message. Try Ranger 11/Assassin9 or something similier and you see. Even in the old patches it worked, but I know that someone spread that myth ...
Try really Vordans hero creator. There you have all possible official gear or you can just fight a Dragon or Balor naked. The best build test mod for NWN2. |
